Patriots' Wes Welker happy for friend Matt Cassel
Wes Welker is happy for his friend and former teammate Matt Cassel , but not for the reasons one might think.
Cassel, 27, recently signed a contract worth nearly $15 million to be the Kansas City Chiefs ’ starting quarterback after a 2008 season in which he exceeded expectations filling in for an injured Tom Brady in New England .
