The Wes Welker Foundation has been giving back to the receiver’s hometown since his first season in the NFL. The foundation aims to influence at-risk youth by encouraging their full potential through athletics and positive role models. To that end, it has sponsored football camps for kids who are eligible for free and reduced lunch, given grants to several Oklahoma City schools for new sports equipment and sponsored a youth football league.
