Western Oklahoma wakes up to chilly temperatures Wednesday

It was a chilly morning out west, with temperatures in the 30s across western Oklahoma and the Panhandle Wednesday morning. From the Oklahoma Mesonet weather network:

3 – Goodwell 34.8F 6:10 am
4 – Hooker 36.1F 6:50 am
5 – Beaver 36.6F 3:45 am
6 – Freedom 36.6F 6:10 am
7 – El Reno 37.6F 6:35 am
8 – Altus 37.9F 6:45 am
9 – Alva 38.0F 4:10 am
10 – Camargo 38.0F 6:35 am
11 – Tipton 38.1F 6:00 am
12 – Woodward 38.1F 5:25 am
13 – Hinton 38.1F 6:20 am
14 – Mangum 38.2F 5:50 am
15 – Medford 38.8F 5:30 am

There’s no hazardous weather in the forecast for central and western Oklahoma, including the Oklahoma City metro area, the National Weather Service’s Norman office reports. Scattered, light showers are possible Wednesday afternoon.
