NORMAN — Kelsey Cline walked away with the trophy, besting his competitors by nine strokes in the 37th annual Westwood Invitational Golf Tournament.
This is Cline's fourth win, having won the title in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
The 54-hole stroke-play tournament is one of the largest in the state, drawing a field of competitors not only from Oklahoma, but from surrounding states, golf professional David Lisle said.
“The course never looked better,” Lisle said. “Conditions were just right. It was a great tournament.”
About 140 golfers participated in the three-day event that concluded Monday. Cline posted scores of 67, 63 and 65 to win the tournament title.
