HOLDENVILLE — A Wetumka woman died from injuries suffered in a wreck Monday afternoon, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
About 4:45 p.m., Deanna Scott, 47, was driving east on U.S. 270, just north of Holdenville in Hughes County, when her vehicle was struck from behind by a pickup. The impact forced her vehicle into the westbound lanes where it was struck by a second pickup.
Scott who was not using a seat belt, died at a hospital. The drivers of the pickups were not hurt, troopers said.
