State schools Superintendent Janet Barresi is proposing a yearly $2,000 raise for teachers, and is urging school districts and boards of education to consider paying for the raises with surplus district money.

Tim Willert, education reporter for The Oklahoman, is working on a follow-up story and wants to know what teachers think about Barresi's proposal.
