Russell Westbrook: “As a point guard, my job is to set the tone. I didn’t do a good job setting the tone (in the third quarter). Had a few turnovers, letting them get easy baskets. We never broke. We did a great job staying together, sticking with our stuff.”

Kevin Durant: “We made plays in that fourth quarter, we made it work on the offensive and defensive end, put it away a little bit in that fourth quarter.”

Westbrook: “Me and Kevin just talking about how all the home teams lost today. We didn’t want to be leading the train. We did a good job of hitting them first.”

Memphis coach Dave Joerger on Tony Allen’s effectiveness on offense: “Well, they don’t guard him.”

Westbrook: “I thought our bench was great tonight. They’ve been great all season. Especially with all the injuries we had. Tonight was one of those moments where they stepped up.”

Durant on Tony: “He’s a tough defender. Pesky. Small. He gets up under you a little bit. I’ve got to be disciplined in my shot.”
