Oklahoma’s weather may not be conducive to shopping the next few days, but the next time you do venture out, here’s help. The Oklahoman’s Life & Style section offered several holiday gift ideas recently — from penguin sweaters to jewelry to cosmetics. Check out the shopping guide here.

And in yesterday’s Life & Style, Heather Warlick wrote about the Winter Shops at Myriad Gardens and Pop-Up Shops at NW 9 and Walker. The Winter Shops feature 14 locally owned vendors carrying a wide variety of items. The Pop-Up Shops change vendors every weekend, with a total of 31 locally owned retailers taking their turns. Read Heather’s story here.
