What to do in Oklahoma on April 23, 2014: Celebrate Shakespeare's 450th birthday with Reduxion Theatre

Today’s featured event:

Today, Reduxion Theatre Company will join literature and theater lovers around the world in celebrating the 450th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s birth.

The Oklahoma City company is hosting a 450th birthday party in honor of The Bard from 6 to 8 tonight the event space above Broadway Wine Merchant, 824 N Broadway Ave., one block south of Reduxion’s Automobile Alley theater space.

The party will include a special performance from Reduxion’s “Classics for Kids” original series, cupcakes, a wine tasting for adults and a juice tasting for children. (To read my recent column on “Classics for Kids,” click here.)

Admission is $10 for adults and $7 kids.
