What to do in Oklahoma on Jan. 10, 2104: Check out LIVE on the PLAIDza

by Brandy McDonnell Published: January 10, 2014

The Plaza District is going rustic this month for its monthly LIVE on the Plaza art walk, which has been renamed LIVE on the PLAIDza. The art walk is planned from 7 to 11 tonight in the Plaza District, situated in the 1700 block NW 16th, between Classen and Penn

It may be a little cold tonight, but the district will have a nice warm fire to make visitors toasty. Attendees can stop in to “Camp PLAIDza” to enjoy the warmth as well as some tasty s’mores! They can bundle up in their coziest plaid attire and hop in to the Instabus for a “Lumberjack” photobooth! This will definitely be a night to be “remem-beard!”

LIVE-goers will have a second chance at catching the Triple-Threat action at DNA Galleries with Jake Beeson, Tanner Frady, and Jay Hollopeter. The Parish will be showcasing work from Sam Douglas, plus a special visit from New World Comics. Or they can try a painting class with Paint N Cheers – this week’s painting, “Poppies.”

Get your live music fix on Friday with Kailea Acoustics in Bad Granny’s Backroom. Right next door at The Parish, stop in for the lovely tunes of Casey & Minna.

Try a nice slice from Pie Junkie, with a special PI price of only $3.14 per slice. And for the 21+ crowd, there will be a beer tasting from local brewery, RoughTail Brewing Company, inside The Parish.
