•Men's basketball: KWTV-9 will carry four games and portions of other games today from the NCAA Tournament: 11:25 a.m., Davidson vs. Gonzaga (Jim Nantz and Billy Packer); 1:50 p.m., Austin Peay vs. Texas (Ian Eagle and Jim Spanarkel); 6:10 p.m., St. Joseph's vs. Oklahoma (Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery); 8:30 p.m., Arkansas vs. Indiana (Nantz and Packer). Coverage continues with four games Saturday and three games Sunday.
ESPN and ESPN2 are combining to show all the NCAA Tournament games in "whip-around” coverage. Local viewers should see all of Oklahoma State vs East Tennessee State at 7 p.m. Saturday (Beth Mowins and Fran Fraschilla) and Oklahoma vs. Illinois State at 11 a.m. Sunday (Dave O'Brien and Krista Blunk). Both games are on ESPN2.
The NCAA championships in St. Louis will receive extensive coverage on ESPNU and ESPN. ESPNU will air the quarterfinals 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, the semifinals 6 to 8:30 tonight and championship medal round 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. ESPN will air the finals from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, and the refs will be miked for the finals. Dave Armstrong will do the play-by-play with analysts Tim Johnson and Jeff Blatnick.
