Baseball: After being recently swept by their interleague rivals, the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals try to make amends this weekend. The White Sox host the Cubs for a three-game series, 3 p.m. today, WGN; 2:30 p.m. Saturday, KOKH-25, 7 p.m. Sunday, ESPN. The Cardinals travel to Kansas City for three games on Cox 7: 7 tonight, 6 p.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. Sunday. Among other games, Texas hosts Philadelphia, 7 p.m. Saturday, 5 p.m. Sunday, FSNSW; Houston hosts Boston, 7 tonight, FSNSW; the Mets host the Yankees, noon Sunday, TBS.

U.S. Olympic trials: Track and field trials will air at 11 p.m. Friday on USA, 7-8 p.m. Saturday on KFOR-4 and 6-7 p.m. Sunday on KFOR-4. Swimming trials will air 7-8 p.m. Sunday on KFOR-4 and 7-8 p.m. Monday on USA.

•Golf: It's the women's turn to hold their national championship. The Women's U.S. Open will air 2-6 p.m. today, ESPN; 2-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, KFOR-4.

•Soccer: Spain faces Germany in the Euro 2008 championship at 1:30 p.m. Sunday on KOCO-5.

Auto racing: TNT will air the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire International Speedway at 1 p.m. Sunday. This event begins the "Race for the Chase,” the 10-race stretch that precedes the Chase for the Championship.
