On a whole, Americans are adopting healthier behaviors, such as stopping smoking and increasing physical activity, according to the report, published by the United Health Foundation, American Public Health Association and the Partnership for Prevention, according to

Unfortunately, Oklahoma still ranks in the bottom 10. At No. 44, nearly one-third of Oklahomans are obese and physically inactive. Child poverty has also increased in the state in the past 10 years, rising to 27.4 percent from 21.4 percent, reports.
