Now that the man Tulsa police believe attacked at least seven women in June has been identified, Police Chief Chuck Jordan said the city can breathe a sigh of relief, the Tulsa World reports.

Desmond La’don Campbell, 30, has been in the hospital in a coma since June 29, following a single-vehicle crash that police believe occurred as he was leaving the scene of his final attack. Evidence submitted to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation led TPD to Campbell on July 1, Jordan said, and by Friday, further examination of that evidence had authorities sure Campbell was the perpetrator.
