Friday, the Bulldogs pulled off another milestone, wrapping up second place in District 6A-2 with a 35-3 victory over Edmond North at Wantland Stadium.

The win is the fifth consecutive for Memorial (7-2, 5-1).

The Bulldogs’ defense forced five turnovers, turning three into touchdowns.

"We’re one of the best defenses in the state,” linebacker Anthony Morales said. And lately, the Bulldogs have played like it.

In the three games prior to the current winning streak, Memorial gave up 78 points.

During the past five games, opponents have scored just 22 points total on the Bulldogs.

Memorial held North to 72 yards on the ground.

Not only will the Bulldogs have a home playoff game, but they will, in all likelihood, face Edmond Santa Fe in the first round.

The Wolves beat Memorial 21-12 early in the season.
