Our editors spend time every day making sure that our high-interest topic landing pages on NewsOK.com are updated for visitors.

They spend time on the home page, of course, as well as the the News page, the US/World page, the Downtown OKC page, the Life page, the Business page, the Energy page, the OKC Thunder page, the OU Sooners page, the OSU Cowboys page … and so on.

It’s a pretty long list. I didn’t actually go through each page we touch every day. The point is simple — NewsOK has great depth to its variety of content topics.

And now that it’s February, we added another page to that list — Auto Racing.

The Sprint Cup season starts in full force on Sunday with the Daytona 500. And, as of this week, the Auto Racing coverage page on NewsOK.com is ready for the season.

One of the highlights of the page is the NewsOK Auto Racing U Pick’em game that allows users to pick winners of each race throughout the season and compete against other users around the country.

The U Pick’em game is a great way to stay connected. And, as any friend or spouse of a big auto racing fan knows — it’s a really long season.

But the page also has updated photo galleries of everything NASCAR. The gallery is updated with photos in real time as we get them, as are all the articles, videos, race results and standings for all the race series you could possibly be interested in.

You might think you need to use other sites to stay up-to-date with national and international sports like auto racing, but the NewsOK page proves that untrue.

And the U Pick’em contest allows users to stay connected with other fans, both locally and nationally.
