Oklahoma State run defense

Robinson leads the Big 12 in rushing with 101.3 yards per game. The junior has been dealing with a groin injury but is getting back to full strength. OSU’s run defense is one of the best in the Big 12. The solid play of the Cowboys’ defensive linemen and a focus on running to the ball has been the key. OSU needs to continue that effort today.

Cox will have plenty of opportunities to make plays, especially if the Cowboys grab an early lead against ISU. The senior cornerback is a semifinalist for the Thorpe Award but has just one interception this season. He’ll be looking to change that today.

All eyes will be on Robinson as he attempts to rebound from his four interceptions against Texas. Look for the senior quarterback to shake off last week’s struggles and test an Iowa State pass defense which ranks tenth in the conference.
