Wildfire danger continues through the weekend in Oklahoma

Danger for wildfire continues in Oklahoma Friday. Temperatures will be in the 60s with more wind for the weekend.

Another windy, sunny day is ahead Friday in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

The weekend will be warmer with more wind and fire danger.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: Sunny with a high near 49. Northwest wind 7 to 16 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Friday night: Mostly clear with a low around 33. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 9 to 14 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Saturday: Sunny with a high near 62. Southwest wind 14 to 22 mph becoming north, northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.

Saturday night: Mostly clear with a low around 31. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm.

Sunday: Sunny with a high near 67. Southwest wind 7 to 12 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Sunday night: Clear with a low around 37.

M.L. King Jr. Day: Sunny with a high near 58.

Monday night: Mostly clear with a low around 31.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 48.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 29.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 51.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 29.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 50.
