ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Wild right wing Jason Pominville has been honored by the NHL for his productive recent performance.

Pominville was picked Monday for the league's "First Star" award. He had four goals and two assists over Minnesota's last three games.

Pominville scored twice, including the game-winning goal, Friday in a 4-3 victory by the Wild over Montreal. Then he had another goal Sunday to lead a 4-0 win over New Jersey.

The 30-year-old is tied for third in the NHL with 10 goals and leads the Wild with 12 points and a plus-6 rating.

The Wild finish a four-game homestand on Tuesday, against Calgary.
