Winchester commits bad snap but fulfills goal of playing for OU

NORMAN — The football felt absolutely perfect when it left James Winchester 's hands.

It wasn't.

On the first play of his college career, Oklahoma's backup deep snapper committed the biggest of blunders. He snapped it too high and too hard, over the punter's head and into the end zone, forcing punter Mike Knall to kick it out of the end zone to avoid a Chattanooga touchdown.
