Wind gusts of 60 mph possible Thursday

From the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office:

Very strong northerly winds will be seen through the first half of Thursday!

The strongest winds will be over northern and western portions of Oklahoma where gusts around 60 mph will be possible.

Winds this strong will make controlling vehicles difficult, especially high-profile and light-weight vehicles on east-west oriented roadways.

Areas of blowing dirt may also create dangerous travel conditions due to reduced visibilities.
