Movie planned for autistic kids
MOORE — The Warren Theatres will conduct its first special movie showing for children with autism or sensory disorders at 11 a.m. Dec. 15 with a viewing of Rise of the Guardians. The theater will adjust the conditions to accommodate autistic children by raising the lights a little, lowering the volume, not having previews or advertisements, and allowing guests to talk and move around during the movie, the theater said. A similar event held in Wichita, Kan., was a success, so the theater expanded it to Oklahoma.
