Promotion to benefit food banks
Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q locations in Oklahoma will be participating in the restaurant's “Texas Independence Day” promotion this Saturday, serving egg and brisket tacos for 32 cents as a fundraiser for local food banks. The deal is good from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the locations in Oklahoma City, 3437 W Memorial Road, and Norman, 3450 Chautauqua, and is limited to one taco per person. Funds from each purchase will be donated to local food banks, including the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Additionally, the company will add a dollar for each new Facebook “like,” Twitter follower and Instagram follower between Saturday and March 9.
Dealer plans RV sale for owners
NORMAN — RV owners are invited to sell their vehicles without paying a fee during Floyd's Recreational Vehicles' “Show & Tell Sale,” planned for March 22-24. RV owners are also invited to stay the night on the lot in their vehicles during the show, which features free admission and food, entertainment and daily giveaways. Golfsmith to hold grand opening
Golfsmith has opened its first Oklahoma location at 2120 W Memorial Road in Oklahoma City, in a former Ultimate Electronics. The 33,000-square-foot store features high-tech club fitting studios, an indoor driving range and putting green and GolfTEC, an in-store golf lessons center. This weekend, the store will give away prizes including a $1,000 shopping spree for the grand opening; doors open at 8 a.m. Friday.
