Sonic offers two new menu items

Sonic Drive-In has launched two new menu items called Cheesy Bread Dogs, a twist on the traditional hot dog with cheese baked onto the bun. The Ultimate Cheese and Bacon Cheesy Bread Dog features a warm hot dog bun with cheddar cheese baked on it, topped by a beef hot dog with melted cheddar cheese sauce and bacon. The Garlic Parmesan Cheesy Bread Dog also includes garlic Parmesan sauce and grilled onions.

Bricktown Brewery to expand

Bricktown Brewery has plans to expand outside of the Oklahoma City metro area, with new locations in Owasso and Fort Smith, Ark. A new Bricktown Brewery will open at 11909 E 96th St. North in Owasso at the site of a former Ruby Tuesday later this summer and is now hiring staff, according to the restaurant’s website. The Southwest Times Record newspaper also reported that Bricktown Brewery has plans to open a restaurant in downtown Fort Smith. The Owasso and Fort Smith restaurants would be the fifth and sixth Bricktown Brewery locations. Other location are in downtown Oklahoma City; Remington Park, Edmond and Shawnee. The concept is managed by Edmond-based Enduring Brands managing partner Buck Warfield.
