Furniture store’s open house set
Designed to Consign, a new consignment furniture store at 49032 N May will host an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and a ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m. with the Northwest Oklahoma City Chamber. The shop is in the Mayfair Shopping Center next door to Steinmart. With more than 4,500 square feet of showroom space, store owners Rebecca Redwine and Kathleen Bogan will offer a selection of consignment pieces. An independent, locally owned store, Redwine and Bogan claim years of experience with furniture retail in the Oklahoma City market. “We are working to save sellers from the hassle of online listings, random meetups and strangers in your home, while at the same time keeping perfectly good furniture out of our landfills,” Redwine said.
