Baby store offers discount

Green Bambino eco-friendly baby store is celebrating its third birthday on March 2. Shoppers will receive a storewide discount that day. Green Bambino is at 5120 N Shartel.

Billy Sims Barbecue opens store

Heisman Trophy winner and former University of Oklahoma running back Billy Sims will greet guests at the grand opening of the 30th Billy Sims Barbecue location, 2150 W Memorial Road. The event is from noon to 2 p.m. March 2. Billy Sims Barbecue has restaurants in Oklahoma, Missouri and Michigan. The store on Memorial Road is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Auto store has new owners

— The LINE-X location at 110 Michelin Road has new owners: Joey and Missy Ross. The store provides retail customers, local businesses and automotive dealerships with a line of protective coating services and products for truck beds. LINE-X, based in Alabama, has more than 500 locations nationwide.

Military to get free lunch Feb. 28

— McAlister's Deli is picking up the tab for military members as the company's new location at 2600 Air Depot Blvd. prepares to open. Men and women in uniform can receive a complimentary lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 28. The restaurant opens to the public March 1.
