Shoppers can receive a discount on purchases plus free samples, recipes, meal planning and tailgating ideas. A grilling demonstration is planned featuring Holder Brothers Beef. Hunger relief efforts continue

Made in Oklahoma Coalition members are continuing efforts to raise money and food donations for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. To date, the organization has generated $150,000 in proceeds from sales of MIO paper towels and more than 4.3 million pounds of food. Coalition and member companies also have donated more than 150 volunteer hours this year. The Made in Oklahoma Coalition introduced MIO paper towels in 2009 to support the Food for Kids Backpack Program; the paper towels can be purchased at retailers across the state, including Walmart, Crest, Reasor's, Warehouse Market, Buy For Less, Homeland and United Supermarkets.
