Orange Leaf opens Big Apple shop

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, based in Oklahoma City, opens a store in Manhattan later this month. The first New York City store celebrates its grand opening Jan. 24. The company has pledged to donate all proceeds from the store's opening day to Cookies for Kids' Cancer, a national nonprofit that raises money for pediatric cancer. Orange Leaf now has more than 200 locations nationwide.

Bacon drippings spill onto Web

Twin Foods, Inc., will sell its Granny's Good Ol' Fashion Bacon Drippings nationwide through its website, www.twinfoods.com. The Oklahoma-based food company produces prepackaged, refrigerated cooking oil for use in recipes. Customers can purchase two packs of the product for $19.88 plus shipping.

Sams offers health screenings

Free health screenings will be offered at Sam's Club locations nationwide with a pharmacy from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Participants can have glucose, total cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index and vision tested. The screenings are open to Sam's Club members and nonmembers.
