Warm, windy weather in Oklahoma could increase fire danger Friday. But Saturday night there is a 60 percent chance of rain in the Oklahoma City area, the weather service reports.
The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:
Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 78. Windy with a south wind 24 to 28 mph with gusts as high as 39 mph.
Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 59. Windy with a south wind 22 to 25 mph with gusts as high as 36 mph.
Friday: Cloudy with a high near 72. Windy with a south wind 23 to 31 mph with gusts as high as 44 mph.
Saturday night: Rain and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy with a low around 56. Windy with a south wind 20 to 30 mph with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Sunday: A 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a high near 58. South wind 13 to 21 mph becoming north, northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.
Sunday night: A 20 percent chance of rain. Partly cloudy with a low around 31.
Monday: Sunny with a high near 52.
Monday night: Clear with a low around 33.
Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 61.
Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 35.
