A foggy morning will turn into a sunny, windy afternoon in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday Areas of fog before 9 a.m. Mostly sunny with a high near 71. Light southwest wind becoming south 12 to 17 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Friday night Partly cloudy with a low around 52. South, southeast wind 17 to 22 mph with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Saturday Mostly sunny with a high near 77. Windy with a south wind 16 to 25 mph with gusts as high as 36 mph.

Saturday night A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 57. Southeast wind 9 to 13 mph.

Sunday A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 73. South, southeast wind 10 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Sunday night A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 61.

Monday A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 78.
