Due to the dangerously low wind chill factor, classes at all Oklahoma City Schools are canceled Wednesday.
Offices will be open and staff members, including teachers, are expected to report to work, a district spokeswoman reports. All activities will take place as planned.
The district has no more inclement weather days to use for the rest of the school year, according to spokeswoman Tierney Tinnin.
Changes to the official calendar can only be made by the school board, Tinnin reports. The interim superintendent can make recommended changes as to when additional inclement weather days will be made up after meeting with district senior leadership and the union employee groups, Tinnin reports.
