Winter weather remains possible in the state
The strongest chance for snow is Monday evening.
The National Weather Service is reporting there is a chance for a white Christmas, with the possibility of snow strongest Monday evening.
A brief period of a light wintry mix is possible Christmas Eve night across western portions of the state with light rain possible across southern Oklahoma. The precipitation will then change over to snow on Christmas.
Moderate amounts of blowing snow are possible, but blizzard conditions are not likely.
It's still unclear how much snow will fall, and the National Weather Service in Norman is encouraging those traveling over the holidays to keep a close eye on the weather.
On Saturday, central Oklahoma will see mostly sunny skies with a high near 61 degrees. Tonight skies will become partly cloudy, with a low around 35 degrees.
Sunday's high will be 48 degrees with sunny skies.
