— The University of Central Oklahoma's annual WinterGlow celebration originally set for 6 to 9 p.m. Friday has been rescheduled for Jan. 17 due to weather conditions.

“WinterGlow is an event that the campus and the community look forward to each year, but the safety of our students and community members is paramount,” Courtney James, assistant director of campus activities, said in a news release. “With both of these things in mind, we have opted to reschedule WinterGlow rather than cancel it completely.”

WinterGlow features an array of activities including arts and crafts, writing letters to troops with the Blue Star Mothers of America, train rides, face painting, caricature artists, games, photo booths and s'mores.

For more information, go to or call the campus activities office at 974-2363.
