WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — The British costume drama "Downton Abbey" is coming to the Winterthur Museum in Delaware — minus the drama.

Costumes from the popular PBS series will go on display at Winterthur in March. The exhibition also will include photographs, lectures, workshops and other events focusing on entertaining and country house life in Britain and the United States.

The exhibition, "Costumes of Downton Abbey," will run from March 1 through January 2015.

The exhibition will include 40 historically inspired costumes from the television show, which depicts life in an aristocratic British household in the early 20th century.

"Downton Abbey" is the most-watched drama in PBS history, winning a Golden Globe award and seven Emmys.

The costumes will be lent to Winterthur by Cosprop, the world's leading costumier to film, television, and theater.
