Wister man dies in motorcycle wreck

WISTER — A Wister man on a motorcycle died this morning at the scene of a wreck in Le Flore County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

William Chesier, 49, was westbound on a county road east of Wister when his motorcycle ran off the road on a curve, hit a wooden post and rolled, troopers said.

Chesier was not wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
