A woman is accused of disrupting witness testimony and resisting arrest, court papers show.

Tasheika Brown, 31, of Oklahoma City, was removed from the courtroom of Oklahoma County District Judge Larry Jones on Tuesday for making gestures and faces at a witness as she testified in a rape case, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Brown became “very belligerent” as a sheriff's deputy escorted her out of the courtroom, and said “Don't worry, I'll catch her on the outs and beat (her) ass,” the deputy wrote in the affidavit.

The deputy attempted to handcuff Brown, who “began to struggle and resist arrest,” he reported.

A second deputy helped place the woman in custody. She was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of intimidating a state's witness and resisting arrest. She was released Thursday after posting $3,000 bail, a jail official said.
