A woman was arrested early Wednesday after her boyfriend was shot to death, authorities said.

Sandra Josephine Woodard, 42, was arrested after someone called 911 just before midnight Tuesday and reported a shooting at 20456 E 1410 Road, Lot 49, in Lone Wolf, said a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

When Kiowa County sheriff's deputies arrived, they found Harley Douglas Moody, 37, shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Kiowa County Sheriff Bill Lancaster requested the OSBI's assistance in the case.

OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said Woodard was inside the home at the time of the shooting and admitted to firing the gun.

She was arrested on a murder complaint and was being held Wednesday without bail at the Kiowa County jail. has disabled the comments for this article.
