Daniels, her husband, Steve, and their 17-month-old daughter, Reese, sought safety in a hallway at the Oak Tree Country Club.

Tuesday’s tornado plowed through the golf course, tearing apart trees like paper.

"The ceiling tiles were lifting,” Daniels said. "You could feel the air. It took about 30 seconds.”

After the storm passed, Daniels and her family made it back to their Oak Tree home at 317 Oak Summit Road.

Then, a report of a possible second tornado sent them across the street to a safe room at neighbor Julie LeBlanc’s home.

Baby wasn’t due
The contractions continued. So did her worries, because her baby is going to have to be delivered by Caesarean section.

She is scheduled to have her son Friday.

"I was scared,” Daniels said. "I was more nervous because I knew no one could deliver my baby.
