Healdton woman charged in rape

HEALDTON — After being accused of having sex with a 13-year-old boy, Diana Kay Mills, 37, told police she thought the boy was 16 the first time they had sex, Healdton Police Chief Gus Handke said.
Still, "She had intercourse with him on two more occasions after she learned he was 13,” Handke said.
Mills was arrested Tuesday and charged Wednesday with first-degree rape and contributing to the delinquency of minors. The boy’s mother told police she was becoming concerned about some of the rumors she was hearing about her son.
"She heard her son was keeping pace with a bad crew, and there were possibly some bad things going on,” Handke said. "She was also hearing talk about Ms. Mills and that there may be alcohol and possibly some inappropriate sexual stuff going on.”
Handke said the boy told police that Mills gave him and a 15-year-old boy alcohol and prescription drugs and that he had sex with her.
"When we questioned her she confessed to having sex with the 13-year-old boy, but she said there was no inappropriate activity with the 15-year-old,” Handke said.
Both boys told police Mills supplied them with several types of prescription drugs.
"They said she would allow them to come over and take these tabs while drinking beer,” Handke said.
Police said no other teenagers have come forward or been identified.
