A woman told police she was groped while on her way to work at Penn Square Mall.

The woman was in the stairwell of the parking garage at the mall, 1901 Northwest Expressway, about 1 p.m. Sunday when the man groped her, according to an incident report.

The incident happened after a woman parked and briefly made eye contact with a man in gold car beside her. The victim told police the man followed her to the stairwell and groped her under her dress before running away.

Police tracked a man to an Oklahoma City home using his license plate number after a witness saw a man acting suspiciously and followed his vehicle out of the garage.

Police arrested Alex Altamiramo, 42, of Oklahoma City, at the residence. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of sexual battery.
