Woman in ice cream truck arrested on drug complaints in Oklahoma City park

Oklahoma City police say Amanda Marylee Pickle, 30, was using a hypodermic syringe to inject drugs in an ice cream truck at a city park.

Pickle denied the items were hers and said she was disposing of them for a friend, according to the report.

A woman who answered the phone at Summer Song Ice Cream, listed as Pickle's employer in the report, said the truck belonged to the company but Pickle was never an employee. The woman on the phone declined further comment.

Pickle was convicted in 2007 in Murray County on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication, court records show. She received a six-month deferred sentence.
