Woman killed by Norman train identified

A woman was killed by a train Saturday night in Norman. Police have identified her as Susie Mae Cunningham, 34, of Oklahoma City.

— Police have released the name of a woman killed by a train Saturday.

Susie Mae Cunningham, 34, of Oklahoma City, died Saturday night at the Main Street railroad crossing in Norman, police said.

Lt. Jeff Robertson said the incident was called in about 10:35 p.m.

Police and representatives of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway are investigating the incident, he said.

This was the second death on the railroad tracks in Norman in a week.

A man was killed Sept. 1 at Boyd Street at the railroad crossing.

In early August, a man was critically injured at the Symmes Avenue crossing.
