A pedestrian was killed in Oklahoma City and a motorcyclist died in Payne County in separate accidents Thursday, authorities said.

Paul Scott Conklin, 48, Cushing

Conklin was pronounced dead at the scene of a wreck on E 68 at West Point Road, four miles east of Ripley, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 6:45 p.m., Conklin was riding his motorcycle east on E 68 when a westbound pickup driven by Robert Daniel Massey, 19, hit Conklin's motorcycle head-on.

Massey was not injured. He was wearing a seat belt, troopers said. Conklin was wearing a helmet.

Lillian Lohmann, 74, of Oklahoma City

Lohmann walked into traffic about 6:15 a.m. and was struck by a pickup near SW 66 and S Pennsylvania Avenue, police said. No further details about the wreck were released as of Thursday night.
