Oklahoma Highway Patrol names some accident victims

Four people have died after accidents on Oklahoma roads on Monday and Tuesday, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol released the names of three people who died after a June 26 accident.

Loretta Jean Wickham, 57, of Ochelata

Wickham died Tuesday when the motorcycle she was riding on was involved in a crash with a Jeep in Washington County.

Wickham died at the scene of the crash about 8:50 p.m. on a county road at U.S. 75 about three miles northwest of Ramona. She was riding on a motorcycle driven by John Robert Wickham, 58, of Ochelata. John Wickham was taken to a Tulsa hospital, where he was treated for an arm injury.

The Jeep involved was driven by Brian James Robertson, 45, of Bartlesville. He was not injured. Robertson wore a seat belt.

William Ray Smith, 42, of Dallas, and Marcus Dwayne Smith, 42, of Dallas

William Smith and Marcus Smith died in a collision about 8:50 p.m. Monday near Thackerville in Love County, the patrol reported.

Driver William Smith and passenger Marcus Smith were in a car going north on Interstate 35 about nine miles north of the Red River.

The patrol reported William Smith was speeding when the car hit the rear of a tractor-trailer driven by John T. Carter, 62, of Pierce City, Mo. Carter was not injured.
