Woman testifies that OSU's Darrell Williams assaulted her
STILLWATER — A woman testified Monday that a suspended Oklahoma State University basketball player touched her sexually, even though she told him to stop and tried to move his arms away.
The woman took the stand in the trial of Darrell Williams, who is charged with four counts of rape by instrumentation and one count of sexual battery for allegedly groping two women and reaching into their pants without their consent.
During questioning by prosecutors, the woman testified that Williams hugged her from behind outside a basement entrance to a residence where a party was being held in December 2010, the Stillwater NewsPress reported. The woman alleged that Williams, while dressed in Oklahoma State warm-up clothing, touched her chest and stuck his hands down her pants and touched her groin.
“I told him to stop and go find another girl,” she testified.
The woman said that while she was looking for her driver's license and some cash she thought she lost while Williams was touching her, he came up behind her and touched her breasts and stuck his hands down her pants again. She said she told Williams to stop and tried to pull his arms away but she wasn't strong enough.
