Woman visits Oklahoma on her walk to share blood marrow donor story

Jada Bascom was born perfect. Tufts of soft red hair framed her plump face with its cupid's bow lips and button nose. She weighed a healthy 7 pounds.

But two hours after birth, tiny red dots appeared on her skin. An alarmed nurse whisked Jada away and the child soon began the first of hundreds of blood transfusions.

Tests later revealed the cause of her blood- clotting problems. Jada had leukemia.
