Women advocates meet at Oklahoma Capitol

A new organization hopes to be a voice and resource for groups advocating improved conditions for women in Oklahoma .

The Oklahoma Women’s Coalition is a nonprofit group that began this year to promote policies that help women in Oklahoma. The group gathered at the Capitol on Wednesday to educate new members on how the legislative process works and meet state leaders.
