Woodward can't qualify in last shot at Olympics
OMAHA , Neb. - Oklahoma 's Samantha Woodward fell short in her final bid to make the U.S. Olympic swimming team Sunday in the 50-meter freestyle.
Woodward finished in 25.82 seconds for the 25th fastest time in the preliminaries. Only the top 16 swimmers moved on to the semifinals.
Woodward, who competed at Edmond Memorial High School , was two-tenths of a second too slow to reach the semifinals.
