WOODWARD — An 18-year-old man swimming in Fort Supply Lake in Woodward County drowned Tuesday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

Johnathan T. Loftis, of Woodward, was swimming from a boat ramp about 150 yards north of Coors Island with four other people when he began to struggle in the windy, choppy waters, troopers said.
