Work begins on I-35 interchange reconstruction in Norman

Motorists can expect ramp closures and lane realignments as crews contracted by the Oklahoma Transportation Department begin reconstructing the Main Street interchange on Interstate 35 in Norman.

— Crews contracted by the state Transportation Department have begun work on the reconfiguration of the Main Street interchange on Interstate 35.

The $35 million reconstruction project is expected to be completed in March 2014. Until then, motorists can expect some ramp closings and lane reconfigurations. Signs will be posted.
